When Maldito Rodriguez launched a new wave of theatre-gig tribute shows in Las Palmas in 2013, Bad Medicine was the Bon Jovi tribute that stole the spotlight.
Performing at the stunning Teatro Guiniguada de Veguetta and the prestigious ExpoMeloneras Exhibition Halls, the band brought the full arena experience to an intimate theatre setting — complete with lighting, video, and immersive staging. It was a new format for the Canary Islands, and it drew audiences who'd never experienced live production at that level.
Rob played bass and vocals alongside Rubén Nóbrega, David Sierra, Javier Negrin Santana and Elvis Pescossa. For Rob, these shows were eye-opening: they proved that great production could transform a performance into something truly unforgettable. The seeds of show-design.co were planted here.
